A Trip to New York

Back across to New York today for a few days of meetings. Time to sample that wonderful city again and catch up with a few people.

In 2006 I moved to new york, only for 18 months. I was welcomed by a friend group that made me feel at home. Since i left, its mainly been a digital friendship.Just opened Facebook to find out one of them has died. Surprisingly upset. :-(

My sister sent this photo of her last night on safari. First there were elephants, then buffalo, then the elephants came back to chase away the buffalo and let this mom and baby drink

I have had a lovely evening doing low key friendly baseball umpiring with local teams.

Thinking about a easy mountain for a holiday and good to see i have all the kit already. So Toukbal in winter looking good. And then maybe a week in the canaries walking in November. Got to make plans!
