A new Geek Dinner

July 6, 2006

It looks like Ian has done his normal superb job in organising a geek dinner. Today, this evening, he has invited Chris Anderson, editor-in-chief of Wired and author of the Long Tail. I’m lucky enough to be in the UK for this, so definitely going along.

Wondering if it was a deliberate decision for bbc to employ only women main presenters of the Olympics shows or did they just choose the best available (i'm going with latter, given the quality) #Olympics

So we're going to get a duo sliding medal. Either the top pair will, or they'll fall below the other pair. That is good. #Olympics
