After the jubilation yesterday, complete terror today. London closed down, buses and tubes blowing up and the army apparently called out. No one knows what is happening, mobile networks down. Evryone starting at the TV.

The first aid person was offering 10min massages today. She's a trained physio/sports masseur. She hit all my troublesome spots and definitely released a few knots. (Tip: don't fall off horse, break a few vertebrae and suffer chronic back pain for rest of life.)

I've not done too much today, but still got through 4litres and feel dehydrated. Tomorrow, when actively umpiring in black, 3 layers with body armour, is going to be hell i think.

Today went well with me doing mostly nothing. So prep was good. One minor problem to be dealt with tomorrow...we need a plunger!

There are different rumours around the players today about what the big event is. i am, of course, encouraging the wrong ones :-)
