On a follow up to the Greasemonkey issues, Flickr offer some nice customer service – warning users if they are using the older version that carries the vulnerabilities.

    One thing I wish Google maps would do for directions is mixed mode. So drive to the station and get a train is the often a better option that either drive or public transport. (Or is there a switch i missed)

    The same comment as many - we should hold any migrants to the same standard as the average british person. Which is definitely NOT the equivalent of A level english. In general it appears that the average reading age of the Uk population seems to be somewhere between 9-11

    New ancestry DNA analysis dropped. I used to have some Scandinavian (presumably via Yorkshire), but as they refine, it all gets a bit more concentrated. The Devon bit is new though.

    Morning world. I have blocked the day for creating financial reports. Then I have another evening committee. (Well, not another, last night's was cancelled)

    I've been working on a document for the last few months - took about 3 weeks of intense effort then lots of waiting for answers and feedback. I've just sent it out to all who now need to approve it. Quite satisfying
