A new Geek Dinner

July 6, 2006

It looks like Ian has done his normal superb job in organising a geek dinner. Today, this evening, he has invited Chris Anderson, editor-in-chief of Wired and author of the Long Tail. I’m lucky enough to be in the UK for this, so definitely going along.

I do love how most drivers these days, in a very masculine coded sport, can burst into tears and telling mom how much they love her #f1

Interesting observed behaviour at this bar. The waiters appear to be asking the various couples/parties if they want drinks top-ups. Not me (on my own). I have to be quite overt in asking. Shall now watch what they do with the other two single women tables.

Now I want a nice, boring procession race please. No drama for top 3. #f1
