Axel F was the name of the song, for Axel Foley, from Beverly Hill’s Cop.
Harold Faltermeyer was the one who performed it (and I think wrote it).
…and now its going to be stuck in my head all day..guess I’m going to have to find this remix.
And I was thinking Miami Vice. (was it the same guy?). my early 80’s cultural history is obviously confused. And now I’ve seen the ad – it is very, very annoying.
